In today's intricate and volatile market your investments require constant monitoring and attention.

The demand made on your time and energy by other businesses may not leave you with the capacity to attend to your personal portfolio with the degree of care you deem appropriate.

Even though the desire to increase one's wealth is a natural instinct, the modern methods used to do so are far more complex.

Keeping this in mind, NDB Capital Limited is pleased to introduce NDB Invest, it's Discretionary Portfolio Management Service (DPMS), where NDB Capital would manage a portfolio on behalf of the client.

We at NDB Capital understand your situation and offer NDB Invest taking the same level of care and attention you would devote to monitoring your own portfolio.

DPMS is an endeavor specially designed by NDB Capital to enhance the wealth of a niche segment of high networth and Institutional investors. The objective of NDB Invest is to provide steady long term returns by following a disciplined and focused approach to investments.

The majority of the investors in the local market today use hype and rumors as their driving force behind investment decisions. Going against the tide, NDB Capital will use equity valuation models and in depth market research to build solid portfolios for it's distinguished clients.

The Stock Market - Rewards and Risks

The Rewards

The primary reason why investors participate in the stock market is actually quite simple - the stock market has the potential to offer higher returns than other forms of investments.

The vast majority of stock market investors buy stocks hoping that the stock's price will rise, so the shares can be sold at a profit. Usually, the potential of a small dividend check is of little concern. Also, the liquidity stork markets provide makes stock investments almost as good as money in hand.

Stock markets can also provide diversity. If a particular sector of the economy is doing badly, stock market investors can avoid that sector and pool their investments in sectors that are doing well or are unaffected. The reverse is also true. Stock market investors can take advantage of sectors that are expected to do well.

Tax breaks are available to stock market investors. There are no taxes on capital gains in Bangladesh for individual investors. Stock market vestments also offer income tax concessions along with government savings certificates and life insurance policies.

The Risks
The potential to offer the high returns has a price, i.e. the risk factor. Make no mistake about it; investing in stocks is a risky business. The share prices can fluctuate both up and down. Such adverse price movements may result in capital losses to the investor.

However, it is the job of the portfolio manager to migrate these risks as much as possible. How NDB Capital will do this is by conducting a due diligence on every stock we buy and sell on your behalf. This would include in-depth stock research, building complex financial models, discussions with the top management of the companies and constant monitoring of the market.
